Who?

Thubten Yangchen (pronounced Thub-Ten Yang-Chen) it is Tibetan where, the last name is printed first and the forename is printed last. It means blessed one.

The name was given to me by the Nuns of the Tharpa Choeling Abbey in Australia with whom I took Buddhist refuge vows.

I am a householder lay Buddhist.

Welcome to my web site where I share with you my B&W photography, poems and digital art.

May you be well and happy.

Lay Buddhist?

Lay disciples are householders and other laypersons who take refuge in the Triple Gem (the Buddha, his teaching and his community) and practice as many Precepts as they can.
